"Still winter" in Ohio is a good time to share some of last summers photos as we look forward to spring
|
"Roll out the barrels" has a different significance for us. It's one of the "tractor games" we compete in during the summer show.
|
THE BEGINNING
In 1995, nine individuals, having a
common interest in antique tractors
and their preservation, met and
formed the Antique Tractor Club of
Trumbull County. Since then our
membership has grown to over 170
members with an even greater
number of antique tractors.
IT'S ABOUT HAVING FUN
Our members are as diverse as the
tractors they own. From all different
backgrounds to those who don't
even own a tractor, our family
oriented club is open to all whose
common interest is antique tractors.

2010 and Red-dy
As we get ourselves started for this year, keep in mind of all the new experiences
coming for the club shows. New property for our spring and summer shows.
New setup for displays, exhibits, demonstrations, and activities. New ideas to
introduce. New problems to tackle. Exciting to think of all the possibilities. Get
the Farmalls and other tractors geared up for an impressive kick-off.
Our first building at the new property is well underway. The winter snow has
stopped us for awhile. We are ready to put up the roofing as soon as the weather
breaks.
Don’t forget the spaghetti dinner planned for March 20th, 2010 at 4pm at the
Grotto building. The proceeds from these dinners are used for improvements at
our new show grounds. Pass the word.
We are also planning our spring show at the new property on May 22. Planned for
that day is a flea market, garden tractor pull , bake sale, and wagon rides, plenty
of food and beverages. We are accepting items donated to the club to sell at the
flea market and spaces to setup will also be available.
Some other items we are looking for: wood or metal shelves, lumber (all sizes),
drainage pipe, large pull type mower.
We are ready again to start collecting ads for sponsorships for our summer show
book. The cost is the same as last year. I have updated the ad forms and will
have copies available at the meetings.
See you at the meeting.
Keep those tractors running.
