Something for everyone
If you had to summarize this years
summer show in one phrase I
don't think anyone could come up
with a better phrase than
"something for everyone". At the
meeting we briefly touched upon all
of the activities and truly, there
something for everyone with a lot
going on. We h a play area for the
kids with pedal tractors and other
activities to get the next generation
started. Also, the petting zoo and
pony rides drew quite a crowd. For
those just a wee bit older, there
was a tractor drawn wagon going
around the new grounds every few
minutes or so and if you've never
driven a tractor, this years show
was the place to do it since a
tractor with instructor was set up for
anyone wanting to see how it felt.
There was a chinese auction on
both days as well as plenty of
vendors at the flea market together
with hit and miss engines, tractor
pulls in several classes and
drawing for prizes throughout the
weekend. Truly something for
everyone
